What this service can offer
We consider your experience alongside the relationships, rules, information and resources around you — what shapes the choices you have and what you can actually do.
The work can include understanding what happened, working through the effects and developing options you can actually use. We do not require a diagnosis of another person or a decision to leave.
Your concern may cross categories. We first clarify the help you need and the practitioner’s suitability, including where a specialist service should be involved. Counselling here is not an emergency response, an investigation or a legal or formal violence-risk assessment.
